Scherbak didn't accomplish any mind blowing progression this season. He had 4 more points than his draft year. He was invisible at the world juniors. He also has a poor defensive game. Oleksiak's main attribute is that he is really tall. He has 10 points in 59 games in the NHL. It must be his staggering 17 points in the AHL. The first will probably be late again.

I meant the equivalent of 3 firsts because the 2 prospects are likely worth a 1st each. Sorry I didn't make that clear.

He's been a 40 point NHLer on dumpster fire team since he was drafted. Hit 49 and 47 before along with 38 in 48 during the lock out.

Yeah there's not a chance I'd trade a 40 point 25 year old player for one thing that might have a chance to do that some day and another thing that has a large chance of never making an impact.
