Ends up cycling Markov into the type of young asset he was looking for. But loving this semi re-build going on by Steve. Gives us in the Pacific a sniff of hope next year.

Agreed. Gaborik will never escape his injury prone plaugued past in my mind either. Something that I highly doubt will get better with age. you potientially could have got more, sure, but you cut cap and i think that was your goal. It's not like Zetts isn't as injury prone as Gabby, and they are roughly the same age, so it's not horrible.kyuss wroteCOLONYou guys should probably read that bolded part again

the point was somehow they were talking Gaborik/Vanek instead of Zetterberg/Vanek.
as for their age, Gaborik is actually younger than Zetterberg.

I personally would take vanek over gaborik. That said his cap is 1.6 more and that defeated the purpose of trading zetts.
